BEREAVED PARENTS OF ADULT CHILDREN THERAPY GROUP
The loss of a child is incomprehensible, beyond understanding – however, working in a therapeutic group with other parents who have lost their adult children is a safe, supportive, and caring environment to begin your journey toward learning to manage this loss within your life. For this group, the loss of an adult child is defined as any child over the age of approximately 18. Individual considerations may be made depending on specific circumstances. How Group Works
The Bereaved Parents of Adult Children Group is an eight week structured therapeutic group with specific educational and therapeutic topics. This is a closed group, meaning members should commit to the full eight weeks and new members can only start during week one. Make-up meetings may be available in subsequent sessions for absences that could not be avoided. This eight week session will enable members to understand grief, to work through many of the feelings they are experiencing, to maintain a continuing bond with their child, and to begin to set future goals.

Cost and Payment
Cost for the eight weeks of one and a half hour therapeutic sessions is $300 for early registration and $350 for late registration. Payments must be received prior to the first week of the session and are accepted in the form of cash, personal check, or via PayPal. Payment plan options may be discussed if needed.
